Born in Venice to a German mother and an Italian father, Mario Girotti, known worldwide as<\/span> Terence Hill<\/a>,<\/span> became one of Italy\u2019s most beloved actors through decades of cinematic success.<\/span><\/p>\n Long before fame, however, there was a family tradition. In the town of Amelia, Umbria, his grand-uncle ran an artisanal gelateria known for its homemade recipes and authentic flavors. When the shop closed, a piece of family heritage seemed lost.<\/span><\/p>\n In 2015, during a visit to Amelia with his grandson, Terence Hill rediscovered the site of the original gelateria and decided to bring it back to life. In 2017, Antica Gelateria Girotti reopened its doors.
